Standards
Kyber reports on surveillance and control technology. That only works if the publication itself is honest about the data it touches.

Pages currently load Google Analytics measurement ID G-FEV5WVVTRT after idle time or first interaction, not as a render-blocking dependency. Analytics is used for coarse traffic and content performance, not for building ad profiles for sale.
Because Google Analytics is third-party infrastructure, it can still receive technical data such as page URL, approximate location derived from IP, browser/device metadata, and a client identifier. Readers who want to reduce that exposure can use tracker blocking, private browsing, or network-level filtering. Kyber’s longer-term preference is first-party or privacy-respecting measurement once metrics continuity is sorted.
The newsletter form collects the email address you submit and stores it for Kyber Intel briefing delivery. The form currently posts to list infrastructure hosted atlists.coldsoulrecords.com. That hostname is mail-processing infrastructure only; it is not a second editorial brand and Kyber does not use the list for unrelated Cold Soul Records marketing.
Every briefing message includes an unsubscribe path. If unsubscribe fails, email kai@kyberintel.com and the address will be removed manually.
Ordinary correspondence can go to kai@kyberintel.com. Do not send illegal material, threats, or highly sensitive source material over plain email without first establishing a safer channel. Kyber does not currently publish a public SecureDrop or dedicated encrypted drop box; that gap is known and should be treated as a limitation, not a feature.
Corrections requests are welcome at the same address. Material corrections will be noted on the affected article and, when the corrections ledger ships, logged there as well.
Like most websites, hosting and CDN/server layers may retain standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested path, status code, timestamp) for operations, abuse response, and reliability. Retention depends on the host configuration and is not used by Kyber as a commercial data product.
Beyond delayed analytics and the newsletter processor, article pages may link out to primary sources, courts, vendors, and other publications. Those destinations have their own policies. Kyber does not control them.
This publication is written for a general adult audience concerned with technology and power. It is not directed at children, and Kyber does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If the measurement stack, newsletter processor, or tip channels change in a material way, this page will be updated. The goal is fewer third parties over time, not more.
